How Much Are Turkey Teeth? 2026 Prices Per Tooth and for a Full Set

Smart Digest
  • Turkey teeth is a nickname for a full-mouth cosmetic dental makeover done in Turkey, most often crowns rather than veneers.
  • International Clinics publishes prices of $200-$400 per all-ceramic crown, $150-$600 per veneer depending on material, and $400-$1,500 per dental implant.
  • A full set of 16 to 20 crowns therefore costs $3,200-$8,000, and an all-inclusive package adds $1,000-$1,500.
  • Crowns require removing a significant amount of natural enamel, which cannot grow back, so the treatment is only appropriate when the teeth genuinely need it.
  • Restorations last 5 to 7 years for composite and 10 to 20 years for porcelain, E-max and zirconia.

Turkey teeth is not a medical procedure. It is the nickname British patients gave to a full-mouth cosmetic makeover done in Turkey — usually crowns, sometimes veneers, sometimes implants. Because the name covers several different treatments, the price only makes sense once you break it down per tooth.

How much are Turkey teeth in 2026?

How much are Turkey teeth? At International Clinics our published 2026 prices are $200–$400 per crown, $150–$600 per veneer depending on material, and $400–$1,500 per dental implant. A full set of 16–20 crowns works out at $3,200–$8,000, and our all-inclusive smile package adds $1,000–$1,500 on top.

Every figure above is a price we publish, not an estimate. Gold crowns are the one exception to the tooth-coloured range and cost $800–$1,500 per tooth, which is why almost no smile makeover uses them. Our full Hollywood Smile Turkey package page sets out what a complete case looks like end to end.

Turkey teeth price for a full set of 16 to 20 teeth

Most people who search for Turkey teeth want the whole visible smile done, not one tooth. The visible zone is normally 16 to 20 teeth across both arches. Multiply our published per-tooth price by the number of teeth and you get the real full set price.

Full set option16 teeth20 teeth
All-ceramic crowns at $200 – $400$3,200 – $6,400$4,000 – $8,000
Porcelain veneers at $250 – $500$4,000 – $8,000$5,000 – $10,000
E-max veneers at $350 – $600$5,600 – $9,600$7,000 – $12,000

If only the upper front teeth show when you smile, a 6 to 10 tooth makeover at $1,500–$4,000 gives the same visible result for a fraction of the money. A dentist who quotes 20 crowns for a patient who shows eight teeth is selling volume, not dentistry.

Our published 2026 prices per tooth, and what a full set of 16–20 teeth comes to at those rates.

How much are Turkey teeth crowns per tooth?

Crowns are what most Turkey teeth cases actually are. A crown caps the entire tooth, so it can correct shape, colour, length and minor alignment in one step. Our published crown price is $200–$400 per tooth for all-porcelain and all-ceramic, and crowns typically last 10 to 15 years.

The trade-off is structural, and it is the single most important thing to understand before you book. A crown needs the natural tooth reduced on every surface to make room for it. Our crowns versus veneers comparison sets out how much tooth each option costs you.

How much are Turkey teeth veneers per tooth?

A veneer is a thin shell bonded to the front of the tooth only, so it removes far less natural tooth than a crown. Our published veneer prices run $150–$300 for composite, $250–$500 for porcelain, $300–$500 for zirconia and $350–$600 for E-max.

Veneers only work on teeth that still have healthy enamel to bond to. That is why a clinic sometimes recommends crowns instead — and also why some clinics default to crowns for everybody. Ask which one you are being quoted for, in writing. Our veneers in Turkey cost breakdown covers each material in detail.

How much are Turkey teeth for implants?

Implants are a different category. They replace a missing tooth root rather than dress up an existing tooth, and our published price is $400–$1,500 per implant including the post, the abutment and the crown. Brand accounts for much of the spread, from Korean systems at the lower end to Swiss systems at the upper.

An implant case also takes longer. Bone integration is measured in months, not days, so a full implant restoration usually means two trips. Our dental implant cost guide breaks the price down by material and brand.

What Turkey teeth packages include, and what they do not

Our all-inclusive package is $1,000–$1,500 on top of the dental work and covers the consultation, hotel stay, VIP airport and clinic transfers, X-rays, pre-operative tests and post-operative medication.

What no package covers is the long tail: flights, time off work, a second trip if something needs adjusting, and replacement of the restorations when they reach the end of their lifespan. Crowns and veneers are not permanent. Budget for a replacement cycle every 10 to 15 years and the arithmetic looks different from the headline price.

The package price is not the trip price. Flights, a second visit and replacement later sit outside it.

Why Turkey teeth prices are lower than UK dental costs

The gap is real and it is not a quality discount. Clinical salaries, laboratory fees, premises and the exchange rate all sit lower in Turkey, and the volume of international patients lets clinics run in-house labs that turn a case around in days rather than weeks. The same porcelain, zirconia and implant brands used in London are used in Istanbul.

What the lower price does not buy is aftercare on your doorstep. If a crown fails 18 months later, the clinic that placed it is a flight away, and a dentist at home may be reluctant to take on work they did not do and cannot source parts for.

Turkey teeth gone wrong: the risks of a full-mouth makeover

This is the part that price guides tend to skip, and it is why the phrase Turkey teeth carries the reputation it does. The core risk is not the country. It is the treatment plan: healthy teeth reduced for crowns when a more conservative option would have worked.

“Porcelain veneers and dental crowns require removing a significant amount of enamel” — Cleveland Clinic, What is Dental Bonding & What To Expect, 2026. Source

Seen from above: a veneer takes enamel off one face, a crown takes it off all of them.

Enamel does not grow back. Once a tooth is prepared for a crown, it will need a crown for the rest of its life. That is an acceptable trade when the tooth is already broken down or heavily filled. It is a poor trade for a sound tooth that only needed whitening or bonding.

The complications reported after rushed full-mouth work are consistent and documented: lasting sensitivity, pulp inflammation that ends in root canal treatment, gum irritation and recession where crown margins sit badly, bite and jaw joint problems when a whole mouth is rebuilt in a few days, and early failure of restorations. None of these are certain, and a well-planned case at an experienced clinic may avoid all of them. But no dentist can promise you a particular result, and any clinic that does should worry you.

Who should not have a Turkey teeth smile makeover?

A full-mouth cosmetic case is not appropriate for everyone. Treatment should normally be delayed or reconsidered if you have untreated decay or active gum disease, if your jaw is still growing, if you are pregnant, if you have uncontrolled diabetes or another condition that impairs healing, if you grind your teeth heavily without a plan to manage it, or if you smoke around implant surgery.

It is also the wrong procedure if the underlying issue is alignment. Crowning crooked teeth to make them look straight destroys tooth structure that orthodontics would have left intact. A clinic that does not raise this with you has not examined you properly.

How long do Turkey teeth last, and what before and after results are realistic?

Our published lifespans are 5 to 7 years for composite, 10 to 15 years for porcelain and E-max, 10 to 20 years for zirconia, and decades for a well-integrated implant. Those numbers assume daily brushing and flossing, regular check-ups and a night guard if you grind.

On before and after expectations: the honest version is that a good result looks like your own teeth on a good day, not like a row of identical white blocks. Shade, length and translucency should be chosen against your face, and the first thing to look at in any clinics gallery is whether the gum line still looks healthy in the after photo. Our complete Hollywood Smile guide covers how the shade and shape are planned, and our full set of veneers price page compares the same case done with veneers only.

If you want a costed plan for your own mouth rather than a price range, send us a photo of your smile and a recent X-ray and our dental team will tell you which of the options above actually applies to you, and which of them you do not need.

FAQ's

It can be, if the plan is right for your mouth. The saving on our published prices is real: $200-$400 per crown against several times that in the UK. The risk is over-treatment. Turkey is worth it when you need the work; it is not worth it when a more conservative option would have done.

Many will handle routine check-ups, cleanings and X-rays without any issue. Fewer will take on repairs to cosmetic work they did not place, because liability sits with whoever last touched the tooth and replacement parts for some overseas systems are hard to source locally. Emergency pain and infection are treated regardless.

Crown and veneer cases are usually completed in five to seven days across two or three appointments, because the laboratory is on site. Implant cases are different: the implant must integrate with bone first, so the restoration normally needs a second trip three to six months later.

The appointments themselves are done under local anaesthetic, so you should not feel the preparation. Discomfort comes afterwards: tenderness in the gums and sensitivity to hot and cold for a few days to a few weeks. Persistent pain weeks later is not normal and should be assessed, not waited out.

It depends on material and care. Porcelain and E-max at our published lifespan of 10 to 15 years will often still look good but may show staining at the margins. The more common ten-year issue is the gum line receding slightly and exposing the edge of the restoration.

Not because of the veneer itself. A well-fitted, well-sealed veneer protects the front of the tooth. Decay starts where the margin is poorly finished or where plaque is left to sit along the gum line, letting bacteria reach the tooth underneath. Flossing around restorations is what prevents it.
