Prof. Dr. Sedat Öktem is a pediatric pulmonologist at Medipol Mega University Hospital in Istanbul. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and completed pediatric chest diseases training at Marmara University in 2008. He became an associate professor in 2011 and a professor in 2016. His work covers asthma, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, chronic cough, sleep-related breathing problems, home ventilation and pediatric bronchoscopy.
