Penis lengthening and enlargement surgery is an operation for adult men distressed by penile length or girth, performed after careful medical and psychological assessment. Its aim is a modest increase in visible flaccid length and an improvement in girth; results vary from person to person, so expectations must be realistic.
Lengthening is usually achieved through a small incision at the base of the penis, where the suspensory ligament is partly released to bring forward the part of the shaft hidden inside the body. Girth is most often increased with the patient's own fat, taken from the abdomen or thighs, or with tissue grafts. The procedure is performed under general or spinal anaesthesia.
Surgery takes about one to two hours, often as a day case. Desk work is usually possible within about a week, sexual activity is postponed for around six weeks, and a traction device may be advised for several months. The final result appears after about six to twelve months, once swelling settles and the transferred fat stabilises.
The final cost is set after a medical consultant reviews your case and photos.

It can increase visible flaccid length and improve girth to a modest degree, which may help some men feel more confident. Gains in erect length are usually limited, and results differ from one person to another.
A healthy adult man who does not smoke, or can stop, and who has realistic expectations. A psychological assessment is usually recommended, because many men with normal size feel anxious without any medical need for surgery.
You will have blood tests and an assessment of erectile function, and you should stop smoking at least two weeks beforehand. Blood-thinning medicines are stopped under medical supervision, and you fast for about eight hours before anaesthesia.
The suspensory ligament is partly released through a small incision at the base of the penis to bring forward the hidden part of the shaft. Girth is then increased if needed with your own fat or tissue grafts, and the wound is closed with fine stitches under general or spinal anaesthesia.
Swelling and bruising are common for the first two weeks, and pain is controlled with painkillers. Most patients return to desk work within about a week, avoid strenuous exercise for around four weeks and intercourse for around six weeks.
Results become visible as swelling fades over the first weeks, and the final outcome settles after about six to twelve months. Part of the injected fat may be absorbed over time, while consistent use of a traction device helps maintain the length gained.
Risks include bleeding, infection, prolonged swelling, uneven or absorbed fat, a change in the angle of erection, altered sensation and scarring that can reduce the length gained. These are discussed in detail before you decide.
The incision is small and placed at the base of the penis or in the pubic area, where it is usually hidden by hair. It fades gradually over several months.
Staying about five to seven days after surgery is usually advised so the wound can be checked and complications ruled out. Loose clothing and moving around regularly during the flight are recommended.
The operation does not involve the testicles and does not affect fertility, and it is not usually expected to weaken erections. The angle of erection may change slightly after ligament release, which the surgeon explains beforehand.
