Acibadem Altunizade Hospital

Acibadem Altunizade Hospital is located on Yurtcan Street in the Altunizade neighborhood of Üsküdar, on the Asian side of Istanbul. It opened in March 2017 as the 21st hospital of Acıbadem Healthcare Group and serves patients in an indoor area of 98,000 m², with parking for 550 vehicles.

The hospital has 350 beds, 18 operating theatres and 75 intensive care beds divided between neonatal, pediatric, coronary, cardiovascular surgery and general intensive care units. A triple hybrid operating theatre system connects 3 Tesla MRI, a 128-slice sliding CT and robotic-arm angiography to three operating theatres, and da Vinci robotic surgery is also performed. The building is LEED Gold certified, and the hospital holds Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation.

Its specialized units include oncology, neurologic sciences, neuro-radiosurgery, breast health, orthopedics, cell therapy, adult and pediatric bone marrow transplantation, IVF, perinatology, obesity and spine health. The pediatric clinic has separate waiting areas for healthy and sick children, and children are also served separately in the emergency service and chemotherapy unit.

The emergency service receives air and ground ambulances and includes an emergency operating theatre and 32 beds. International patients are supported by the Health Point unit, which offers services in 16 languages, including English, Arabic, Russian, German and French.
