Prof. Dr. İsmail Gömceli

Prof. Dr. İsmail Gömceli is a general and gastrointestinal surgeon at Medstar Antalya Hospital, working in its Gastroenterological Surgery unit, Obesity Surgery Center, Esophageal Diseases Center and Gastrointestinal Oncological Surgery Center. He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1998, trained in general surgery at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and completed his gastroenterological surgery sub-specialty at Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hospital. He led the gastroenterological surgery clinic at Antalya Training and Research Hospital (2017-2021) and became professor in 2021. He treats colorectal, liver and other gastrointestinal cancers, including HIPEC, and performs reflux, obesity and diabetes surgery.
