Medical Park Pendik Hospital

Medical Park Pendik Hospital, which carries the VM Medical Park name on its building, is a private hospital of the Medical Park group on the D-100 highway in Pendik, on Istanbul's Asian side. It has been in service since 2018 and states that it holds JCI accreditation.

The hospital has an indoor area of 62,000 square metres, 360 beds and 10 operating rooms. Intensive care capacity comprises 28 general, 9 coronary, 6 cardiovascular surgery and 20 neonatal beds. Around 1,000 employees work alongside 167 physicians.

Services are offered in 49 branches. Key areas named by the hospital include pediatric and adult bone marrow transplantation, nuclear medicine, radiation and medical oncology, cardiovascular surgery, tumour surgery, neurosurgery, an aviation medicine center and IVF. Stroke patients can be treated with intra-arterial thrombolysis and thrombectomy within the first six hours.

The hospital works 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with outpatient clinics open until 23:00 in some departments. It has been a baby-friendly hospital since 2019 and is about 500 metres from Tavşantepe station on the M4 metro line. Patient rooms are designed with plenty of daylight and special heat and sound insulation, and the hospital has agreements with many domestic and foreign insurers.
