Memorial Bahcelievler Hospital

Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital is the 11th hospital project of Memorial Health Group. Located on Adnan Kahveci Boulevard in the Bahçelievler district of Istanbul, the hospital serves a total area of 72,000 m², including 8,000 m² of green space. Its design places daylight, living plants and art at the center of the patient experience, with lounge areas on the floors for patients and their relatives.

According to the hospital's Turkish page, it has 205 beds, 19 operating rooms including a hybrid operating room, 41 intensive care beds, 105 outpatient clinics and 38 observation rooms. Intensive care rooms are each fitted with a fixed patient lift, which the hospital describes as a first in Turkey.

The technological infrastructure includes Elekta Versa HD radiotherapy, da Vinci robotic surgery used in urology, kidney transplantation, gynecology and general surgery, 3 Tesla MR, dual-energy CT, PET-CT, gamma camera, mammography and angiography. Departments span oncology, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, organ and bone marrow transplantation, neurosurgery, orthopedics, pediatrics and an emergency service.

The hospital is accredited by Joint Commission International and holds the LEED Platinum certificate from the US Green Building Council, described as the first awarded to a full-fledged hospital. It also holds the Ministry of Health International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate, and international patients are supported by the group's International Patient Center.
