Acibadem Bakirkoy Hospital

Acibadem Bakirkoy Hospital is located on Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil Street in Bakırköy, on the European side of Istanbul. It opened in 2000 as the first hospital of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group on the European side of the city.

The hospital has an enclosed area of 18,000 m², with 102 beds, 6 operating theatres and 27 intensive care beds. A heliport on the campus is used for emergency patient transfers, and the hospital runs an emergency service around the clock.

Newborns with high-risk and critical conditions are cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit by neonatologists, pediatricians and physicians from all pediatric divisions, together with pediatric surgeons and neonatal care nurses. Other specialized units focus on pediatric and adult cardiology, all divisions of pediatrics, neurosurgery with navigation, an IVF and reproductive medicine center, and the treatment of varicose veins, obesity and breast conditions. Listed equipment includes a 3 Tesla MR, 3D tomosynthesis mammography and angiography.

The hospital is listed on the Health Türkiye platform of the Turkish Ministry of Health. According to the group, international patients receive interpreter support routinely in English, Arabic, Russian, German and French. Visiting hours are from 10:00 to 22:00 every day, and each patient may have one companion.
