Acibadem Atakent Hospital

Acıbadem Atakent Hospital is located on Turgut Özal Boulevard in Halkalı, Küçükçekmece, on the European side of Istanbul. It was put into service on 2 January 2014 as the University Hospital of Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University and has an indoor area of approximately 60,000 m².

The hospital has 262 beds and 12 operating rooms. Its 87 intensive care beds are organised as independent units: 12 beds in cardiovascular surgery intensive care, 28 in general intensive care, 5 in coronary intensive care, 15 in pediatric intensive care and 27 in the neonatal intensive care unit. A 30-bed reanimation room serves units including angiography, and the chemotherapy area has 32 beds.

The hospital admits patients to all medical departments, including cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, invasive cardiology, pediatric cardiovascular surgery, nuclear medicine, oncology, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology, neurosurgery, internal medicine and radiology. It holds Joint Commission International (JCI) Academic Medical Center Hospital accreditation and a Health Tourism Authorization Certificate.

The hospital is open 24 hours a day and has an emergency service. International patients are supported by the Health Point team, with interpreters routinely available in English, Arabic, Russian, German and French. Visiting hours are from 10:00 to 22:00 every day, and each patient may have one companion.
